Abstract

The paper lists 191 true bug species representing 23 families collected from the early summer of 2020 to the autumn of 2022 within and close to the city limits of Gdynia (northern Poland). They include Emblethis denticollis Horváth, Galeatus affinis (Her-rich-Schaeffer), Lygus wagneri Remane, Orthotylus tenellus (Fallén) and Tingis pilosa Hummel, all recorded for the first time in the Polish Baltic Coast region, and five other species that have been recorded from four to fifteen other localities in Poland: O. adenocarpi (Perris) (4), Psallus mollis (Mulsant et Rey) (5), O. virescens (Douglas et Scott) (11), Deraeocoris flavilinea (A. Costa) (13) and Acetropis gimmerthalii (Flor) (15). This brings the total number of true bug species recorded in the Gdynia region to 231.
