Abstract
Due to its climatic conditions and being a gate for migration of species from south-eastern Europe, South-eastern Poland is one of the most interesting parts of the country from a faunistic point of view. The natural values of this region are protected by Bieszczadzki, Roztoczański, Magurski and Pieniński National Parks. There are also numerous nature reserves, landscape parks, and the net of Natura2000 is very dense. Although southern zoogeographical regions of Poland are much better researched than northern in terms of available records and number of species, there are still differences between them and Bieszczady Mts., Sandomierska Upland and Nowotarska Dale being understudied with much smaller number of species known from there. In this work, we present newly collected data from south-eastern Poland concerning 162 species of Heteroptera. Among them 39 species are new for particular zoogeographical regions: Bieszczady Mts. – 20, Nowotarska Dale – 8, Pieniny Mts. – 6, Roztocze – 3, Eastern Beskidy Mts. – 1 and Sandomierska Upland – 1.
