Abstract
The paper presents new records of Metopoplax ditomoides (second and third record in the coun-try) and Metopoplax origani (known from Poland since the second half of the 19th century). In Strzelewo (Wielkopolsko-Kujawska Lowland), both species occurred simultaneously. Bearing in mind the hybridization of M. ditomoides and M. fuscinervis, the paper also discusses the possibility of hybridization of species presented in this work. Additional information about biology and distribution in Europe of Metopoplax ditomoides are also provided.
